La robe, rubis aux nuances grenat présente une belle profondeur et annonce déjà une belle concentration. Son nez, s’exprime avec une grande densité sur des arômes complexes de fruits rouges et noirs (cassis, murs, myrtilles) mais surtout des arômes d’élevage en barriques avec les délicates effluves vanillées , grillées et boisées. La bouche, est ronde, douce en attaque avec les mêmes arômes de fruits noirs compotés. Un joli réseau de tanins apporte raisonnablement de l’ossature à ce vin de garde.
